Hi! My name is Marissa. I am a senior this year and graduate in December. After graduation I hope to continue onto graduate school and work on a PhD. I am specifically interested in studying prion diseases and mechanisms in grad school. Beyond school, I am a huge nerd and enjoy playing video games, painting miniatures for Warhammer 40k, and making costumes to wear at conventions. Some of my favorite games include Monster Hunter and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. I also love spending time with my animals each day. I have 2 large dogs, a Great Pyrenees named Freyja and a cattle dog mix named Ciri. I also have 9 friendly chickens that lay eggs each day in all different colors.
